Tryout for Fall 2023-Summer 2024

ULTIMATE AND VALLEY HEAT JOIN FORCES

We are thrilled to announce the merger between ULTIMATE Goal Lacrosse and Valley Heat Lacrosse. Beginning this Fall of 2023, Valley Heat Lacrosse will transition to become ULTIMATE Lacrosse Lehigh Valley (LV).

Valley Heat has a well-established Lehigh Valley presence and also pulls players from surrounding areas. The program is led by Bridget Cerciello, who has long standing ties to the community and to ULTIMATE. Bridget is an ULTIMATE 2016 Alumna and understands first-hand what the program has to offer.

“I have been connected to ULTIMATE since I was a young player and reconnected to the leadership team through a mutual friend and former teammate. I have a strong desire to continue to elevate our platform to develop players and this was a natural next step for Valley Heat. Connecting our players and families with ULTIMATE’s resources as a strong and long-established program is very exciting and we’re going to make an impact quickly. We’ve enjoyed the conversations and planning thus far and are so excited to get started!”

ULTIMATE Lacrosse is a leader in skill and player development with locations in PA, NJ, and NC. It has been recognized as a top club in the country for its competitiveness in the country's most elite tournaments. With the merging of the two programs, new players and families will have access to ULTIMATE’s full development program and all players will benefit from the passion of like-minded female leaders which include Bridget Cerciello, Katie McMahon-Gates, and Michelle Dejuliis.

Demo our 4SQUARE Training Launching this Fall!

This year we will roll out our 4SQUARE Training to Lehigh Valley that focuses on Stick, Strategy, Speed and Strength. In addition to weekly practices, players will train 1x a week for 8 weeks in the Fall and 1x a week for 6 weeks in the Winter.

We will be demoing this training on Friday, July 14 between 9:00AM - 12:00PM at Cedar Crest College. Specific age group times are listed below.

Valley Heat Lacrosse Club is the newest girls club program entering the Lehigh Valley. Valley Heat aims to help raise the level of play in the area, providing an affordable, local, and elite program, eliminating the need to travel in order to play the best lacrosse. Let's grow the game in the Lehigh Valley together!

Our last Team Appreciation post goes to… VH 2026s! This team is made up of a small group of hard working players. Only a few had played together before the season, and they each had to adjust to playing with new teammates every tournament. They met the challenge and still performed, bringing the energy, positivity, and fun to every practice and tournament. This group was constantly asking questions, wanting to get better, and wanting to see their team succeed. As our oldest team, these girls stepped up as leaders both on and off the field, and our coaches could not be more thankful for them! We are proud of their progress this fall and are wishing these girls the best of luck in their first high school season! Congrats on a great fall 2026s!!!

Day 5 Team Appreciation post goes to… VH 2027s! The 2027s made great progress this season and the coaches are grateful to have been there every step of the way. Each player became a stronger person and teammate over the past few weeks. The energy and chemistry that this group has is unmatched! They made every moment fun for themselves, their teammates and their coaches, and were constantly cheering and supporting each other. We loved getting to coach this team!!! Thank you 2027s for a great fall season! Good luck to our 2026s at their final fall tournament, Level Nine, tomorrow!

Day 4 Team Appreciation post goes to… VH 2028s! We love the energy that this team brings to every practice and tournament. These players are always willing to learn and looking to improve their skills. Not only do they work to better themselves, they support one another and celebrate even their teammates smallest successes on the field. Our coaches appreciate the excitement this team brings to every moment (and one of our favorites was the comeback chant!). We have enjoyed watching both their skills and confidence grow over the past few weeks, and will miss seeing their smiling faces! Congrats 2028s on a great season!!!

Day 3 Team Appreciation post goes to… VH 2029s! This is such a fun group! Your coaches loved the positivity, laughs and smiles you brought to every single practice and tournament. These players made great strides this season that led to some awesome moments (Molly making incredible saves, EIGHT different goal scorers in one game, attackers redefending to cause turnovers and score, and so much more!) Your coaches are so thankful for your constant attention, energy and excitement to play lacrosse. We are proud of your growth and can’t wait to continue watching you progress. Thank you 2029s for a great season!

Day 2 Team Appreciation post goes to… VH 2030s! Your coaches are in awe of your skills, knowledge, and growth in the sport and your ability to push and support one another. This group was able to make every second of the season competitive AND fun, working hard while always bringing the smiles and energy. Their efforts paid off, resulting in an 8-0 fall record topped off by a much deserved championship crown! 👑 Each of these players has a very bright future in the sport and your coaches look forward to seeing where it takes you. Thank you 2030s for an awesome season!!!

Wrapping up our 2022 Fall season with a team appreciation post each day this week, starting with… VH 2031/2032s! What a great group of players! These athletes brought the energy, attitude and fun to every single practice and tournament. Their progress over the past few weeks has been incredible to watch. Thank you to these players for putting a smile on your coaches faces every day! We are thankful that you all: - Always want to be the one to count down our cheer (and cheer LOUD!) - Ask to run laps, run sprints, and do push ups at practice - Create strange nicknames for each other and our coaches (Bob?) - Are willing to play anywhere and welcome late additions with open arms - Support and cheer for your teammates at all times, even when you can’t play - and so much more! Thank you for a great fall season!
